I aim to have both finished by Friday. Still need to do some storyboards for the KWC game.. might get a start on them while I'm on the tram.
*sigh* I love sketching in photoshop, paper doesn't do it for me anymore. I need a lappy, damnit.

Okay here's the situation- I need money. Money for AVcon and well, more importantly, money to live- rent's due in this week and when I pay that I'll have exactly $2 left. Or, something to that effect. So, I've decided to open up comissions and see if I get any bites.

For $20AU, you get a full-body character shot with a simple background, in colour, cel shading. Examples of this are: [link] , [link] , and [link] .
Also for $20AU, you can get a vector style full body character shot with simple background, such as [link] , [link] , and [link] .
Oh, and if it's a fanart, I'll chop $5 off the price if I can sell prints of it at AVcon
You'll be mailed a 300dpi version of the file, and a smaller version will be uploaded to DA unless you specifically ask not to.

Oh yeah, the usual, I won't draw porn/hentai/whateverthefuckyoukidsare callingit. Fanart, OC's, Anthros, Whatever are all fine. Remember I'll slash $5 off the price if it's a fanart and I can sell prints of it at avcon!

updateOh hey, comissions are totally filled muchos grazias to ~Jade-Starrz for saying she'll buy -both- comission slots! I've therefore added another slot (I'm gonna be on an ART FRENZY this weekend! Comissions and KWC game stuff!)

Life has been oing along swimmingly, but you can check my LiveJournal for that kind of stuff, as I can't really be bothered going through things again.
Artwise, I've been doing some good things - I laid down a design idea for an old character who's never really had a design, and I've been swept away by the awesome that is PoseManiacs. I now have comitted myself to doing two pages of 10+ sketches a day on the 45 minute setting of the flash app they have over there and I think it's doing wonders - I've also been trying to sketch different poses from memory on a scrap bit of paper at work. It's nothing I'd upload to DA, but it is helping to boost my confidence in my drawing, and I actually AM drawing now, which is awesome.

Still got some homework to do, but I'm not grossly behind on anything except perhaps new media diaries.. might do one now, actually..

~imagifish linked to a DS homebrew program called Colours. I just tried it out and it is rather awesome! I know a few people have R4's (or are getting them *coughToravough*) so I just thought I'd throw it out there!

It's awesome - it's like an oekaki board (minus layers, unfortunately) and it's incredibly fun to paint on (I didn't even know the DS had pressure sensitivity O_o) and there's a gallery you can submit to via wi-fi and you can send images as emails via wi-fi as well
They're also working on the ability to collab using wi-fi as well *glee* You can also save images and transfer them to compy

In short, awesome AWESOME program that will most definitely be used at uni (I can do digipainting at uni! )

So, I kinda want to um.. not draw my own stuff for once, so give me ideas of fan-ish-related things to draw. I want prints to sell at AVCon/Manifest anyway. Please? It can be anything - movies, games, anime, TV shows, celebrities, whatever. Just.. something.

I havn't been posting on DA lately not because I havn't been drawing - actually, I've been drawing a lot. Especially during shifts at work. I'm making a decent attempt to improve my figure drawing at the moment, trying to mix up a more realistic style. Hands, feet, faces, shoulders, muscles in general, etc. Trying to be more diverse in the people I draw - I've been drawing OLD FACES. It's actually pretty fun. <_<. Now all I need to do is get the confidence to start an anatomy sketchbook thread over at CGTalk- even the newer people draw circles around me. D:

I'm also back at uni, though this semester I have 4 theoretical subjects, which is a nice break, but means I'll be dong more study. I'm going to try to aim for HD's in all four subjects, because I need more of those, in my opinion.

Anyway, 10 minutes before I have to go to work. Better put a bit more juice in my iPod.
